How do I sell my
car to
webuycars.ie?

By using our simple 3 step process – 1. We’ll give you a valuation for your car 2. You book an appointment at a time that suits you 3. We’ll arrive at your door, inspect and validate your vehicle details and then pay you. 

A member of our buying team will be in touch with you to support you through every step of the process, making sure your experience is as hassle-free as it can be.

Is it better to sell my car to you or part exchange it for a new one?

If there is any damage to the car, the
car’s value will be lower than a car with
no imperfections. This can include
scratches, dents, stone chips and other
wear & tear.

What information do I need to provide to get a valuation?

A member of our team will get in touch to chat though the simple process, you will need to provide a fair and detailed description of your vehicle, and some details about its service history, NCT and the number of owners. We can also give you access to an online appraisal tool that lets you provide more details, like showing us images of your vehicle to help us provide a more informed and accurate valuation.

Do you buy cars across the whole of Ireland?

We do. We can collect vehicles throughout Ireland, whether that’s from your home or another pre-agreed address that suits you. Remember, you will always need to provide ID and proof of ownership wherever we collect the car from.

When would you collect my car as I work during the week?

We collect cars Monday to Saturday 8.30-6.30pm but we will always call you to agree and confirm a collection appointment that suits you.

What cars do you buy?

We can buy any vehicle that fits our buying profile, it must be driveable, road legal with a current NCT.

Do you buy Imported vehicles?

We will buy all Irish and UK supplied vehicles once they have correct documentation, they meet our buying profile and are mechanically sound.

What happens if I have outstanding finance on my vehicle?

We can still buy your car. Our team will make the necessary checks and arrange to settle any outstanding finance, provided it’s viable to do so.

What price will I get for my car if I sell it to you?

Our aim is to give you the best price possible for a quick and hassle free disposal. Our team of valuation experts research market prices and demand daily, to make sure they can always offer you a fair price.

What do I need to provide on Day of sale?

You will need your VLC, NCT, Service History, if you have one, Proof of ID, this can be a driving licence or passport, and proof address, this could be a utility bill or an official document showing your current address.

How do I get paid?

Once we’ve done all the necessary checks on your vehicle and documentation, and confirmed that everything is in good order, we will process an online payment on the spot, to your preferred bank account.

Am I obligated to sell my car to you?

Absolutely not, however if a collection date and time has been agreed, we would expect to buy your car once it’s as you described and at the price we have agreed.

What happens if I cannot make the collection appointment?

Don’t worry, we will contact you 24 hour before the Collection time to make sure that it still suits you to meet us. If it’s a last minute emergency cancellation, contact our collection team on
